The unpolished
story
The Unpolished Leader grew out of founding WiTCH, a not-for-profit supporting women to reskill and stay in the cybersecurity industry.
Through mentoring and building communities, I kept seeing the same pattern. Talented women questioning whether they belonged, waiting until they felt more confident, more experienced, or more polished before taking the next step.
I recognised that feeling immediately. My own path into tech and cyber was far from traditional, and for years, I believed I needed to change who I was to fit in.
The Unpolished Leader exists to help women build confidence, develop power skills, and take action before everything feels perfect.
Because sometimes the problem is not that you do not belong.
Sometimes you simply have not found your space yet…
